I’ll be returning to Emily Mercer’s fine showcase at one of Manchester’s coolest venues, the Art of Tea in Didsbury. It is part-bookstore, part-restaurant and part-pub. A great place to listen to music.

I’ll be the featured artist, and I’ll be joined by guitar-slinger extraordinaire Rowland Jones. And since he’s a great songwriter in his own right, don’t be surprised if I rope him into doing a song or two.

I’m providing support for Americana artist Gordon McKinney, who will be in Manchester on tour from the U.S. It should be a fun show. Gordon is a fine songwriter, a powerful singer and a good human.

I’ll be playing a 35-minute set at Bill Horncastle’s showcase at the Masonic Hall in Filey. It runs from 1-8 p.m. and is one of the great offerings during the Filey Folk Festival. Bill hosts the Fox’s Den Show on Vixen 101 and is a wonderful host. It is my second year playing his show and it’s an honor to be included.

I’ll be playing a 35-minute set as part of Adie Sanders’ storied Songwriters’ Circle at the Imperial, which runs from noon to 6 p.m. It is my third year at the Festival and third playing the Circle at the Imperial. It’s a great pub and a fine room for music, and Adie puts together a great lineup.
